Today was my 36th birthday. It’s hard to believe that I’m 36. In a lot of ways, I feel younger than that. Then I realize that I’m closer to 40 than I am to 30 and I begin to feel much older.
Today was a good day that was pretty low key. We took Wesley to the Wonders of Wildlife Aquarium this morning. It was pretty amazing! Wesley wasn’t so sure about it, though. I think he was tired and a little out of sorts, so we will have to try it again another time. Then this afternoon my mom and I went and purchased fabric for the nursery. My mom is going to make the crib bumpers and quilt. It was fun to pick out the fabric together and I am really excited to see my ideas start to come together. After a trip to Target, my mom, Wesley, and I met my husband and my dad for dinner.
It was a good day and one I enjoyed spending with my family. 36 is starting out well!
